November 28th of every year, since 1993, is what we (Suchirindian’s) call “Sankalp Divas” as Lion Dr. Y .Kiron, founder of the organisation celebrates his birthday with the Sankalp (an objective) of being devoted in serving the society and by felicitating “social reformists” who have served the people of the nation.
The customary practice by Dr. Y .Kiron on every Sankalp Divas is to choose an eminent social servant who lend their services extra-ordinarily to society at large and felicitating them with “Sankalp Sanjeevani Puraskar”.
